• Arcadia Earth Call to Artists

  Calling all Canadian Digital Artists: Your creative talents could light up Arcadia Earth’s Projection Mapping Room this Earth Month! With April just around the corner, Arcadia Earth is seeking a talented digital artist to take over our Projection Mapping Room for all of Earth Month. This is your chance to create an immersive, audio-visual experience that shines a spotlight on an environmental cause that you believe in this Earth Month.

• 2025 International Summer Programs are Now Open at The Watermill Center 

  APPLICATIONS WILL CLOSE ON WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 19, 2025 AT 11:59 PM EST

  The International Summer Program is an exceptional residency that brings 20 artists together for four weeks at The Watermill Center. Participants are invited to develop new works alongside emerging artists and established creative professionals from various countries and disciplines. They exchange ideas, share practices, attend workshops, and collaborate on projects in a communal and experimental environment that encourages them to push the boundaries of contemporary creative practice. Participants also have opportunities to work with Founder/Artistic Director Robert Wilson on workshops, rehearsals, and installations. The program culminates in a festival of works developed during the residency, alongside works by renowned artists across dance, visual arts, theater, music, and performance art. During the program, artists are immersed in an extensive collection of resources, including The Watermill Center Collection, the Library of Inspiration, and ten acres of landscaped grounds and sculpture gardens.

• 2025 Multi-Displinary Storyteller Applications Are Open! - Telling Tales Festival

  At Telling Tales, we believe every story deserves a chance to be heard—through a book, a song, a workshop, or even visual art! As we gear up for the 2025 Telling Tales Festival, we’re on the search for multi-disciplinary storytellers to perform at the festival. They could be a writer, a musical performer, a visual artist, or any kind of storyteller with a passion for connecting with young audiences. In addition to paid compensation, performers at the Telling Tales Festival enjoy the chance to access free training with an occupational therapist to improve the accessibility of their performance and connect with 12,000 in-person attendees plus 20,000 more through our mailing list, website, and social media.

• West Neighbourhood House - 'Heartbeat of the Neighbourhood' - Public Engagement Campaign - Request for Proposal (RFP) Winter 2025

  West Neighbourhood House (West NH) is a multi-service non-profit organization and registered charity providing a wide range of community social services and community development work serving all ages in downtown west Toronto. (Please see www.westnh.org for more information about our work. Please note our Values and Strategic Plan in particular). Our neighbourhood is experiencing rapid and continuing changes. At the same time, many in our community continue to experience inequities and violence because of race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, indigenous identity and class, among other factors. West NH seeks to be a catalyst for collaboration & co-creation between diverse groups in the community. Our aim is to be the beacon of community values, the connective tissue, a visible and essential part of the evolving neighbourhood. We wish to share a warm, welcoming, energising, optimistic and creative neighbourhood.

• THIRDSPACE: Emerging Artist Summer Intensive Program

  THIRDSPACE: Emerging Artist Summer Intensive Program is a month-long residency program at OCAD University that brings together a dynamic group of interdisciplinary emerging artists, including those in the early stages of their careers and those embarking on new directions in their creative practices. Guided by an established Toronto-based, internationally recognized artist-in-residence, you will deepen and expand your work within a thematic framework. This immersive program offers unique opportunities to explore art, culture, and the environment in and around Toronto, and includes a month of open studio access and final exhibition showcasing the innovative work you develop throughout the program.

As a non-profit organization, the Salt Spring National Art Prize Society is committed to recognizing, showcasing, and advancing the talents of Canadian visual artists. This year, we are thrilled to offer a total of $52,000 in awards to honour outstanding works and to further support the artistic community across Canada.
