Nidhi Kapoor

Prior to joining Toronto Arts, Nidhi Kapoor served as People Operations Manager at FoodShare Toronto, a non-profit with a strong focus on food justice, equity, and community empowerment. Before pivoting to the world of strategic HR, Nidhi honed her storytelling skills as a features writer with ELLE, where she developed a deep appreciation for human connection and culture, an ethos she continues to bring into her work today. With an MBA in HR and over a decade of experience across not-for-profit, tech platforms, and global brands, she blends creativity, strategy, and empathy to build inclusive and high-performing workplaces. Her work spans the full HR spectrum—from designing performance management systems that boost transparency and growth to launching employee recognition programs that celebrate everyday wins and meaningful milestones. She has led initiatives that improved engagement, enhanced retention and championed diversity, equity and inclusion across teams. Known for her ability to translate complex HR challenges into collaborative, people-first solutions, Nidhi is passionate about building workplaces where talent can thrive and where policy and culture go hand in hand. What sets Nidhi apart is her ability to connect data with culture: analyzing workforce trends to implement impactful changes, while never losing sight of the people behind the numbers. David Souza

David Gilvan dos S Souza is a technology professional passionate about innovation, digital transformation, and user-centred systems. With an Advanced Diploma in Computer Systems Technology and more than 20 years experience working as an IT specialist, David brings curiosity, creativity, and a collaborative spirit to every project, always aiming to make technology more human and accessible. David enjoys connecting people with technology in ways that make their work easier and more meaningful. He loves exploring how digital tools can inspire creativity, simplify complex problems, and help teams collaborate better. His approach blends curiosity and empathy, believing that great technology begins with understanding real human needs. Outside of work, you can find David hiking local trails, playing soccer, or watching his favourite series. A proud geek at heart, he enjoys exploring new tech tools, storytelling, and the imaginative worlds that inspire both art and innovation.

Georgia Champagnie

Georgia Champagnie has a diverse range of experience working with numerous non-profit organizations in administration, office coordination, and community engagement. She has successfully managed operations and communications across diverse settings, including co-operative housing and community-based organizations, where she supported daily functions, vendor coordination, and member services with efficiency and care. In addition to her administrative background, Georgia is a skilled graphic designer, illustrator, and painter, as well as a passionate community arts facilitator. She has developed and delivered a wide range of grant-funded programs, including large-scale mural projects, youth arts workshops, and community asset mapping initiatives. Her collaborations with organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club of East Scarborough, TAIBU Community Health Centre, and Urbanology magazine highlight her dedication to using the arts as a powerful tool for empowerment, advocacy, and community connection.

Sarah Mangialardo

Sarah Mangialardo is an artist, administrator and mother who was born and raised in Toronto. She holds a Master’s degree in Photography from Concordia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Photography from Toronto Metropolitan University. Throughout her career as a visual artist, Sarah’s artwork has been exhibited in galleries in North America and abroad. Her work can be found in collections and publications in Canada as well as Europe, and she has been the recipient of support from the Canada Council for the Arts. Sarah has many years of experience in management, administration and education. Her previous work experience includes working as a digital archivist and administrator at the University of Toronto, as well as teaching at Concordia University.

Yazmin Camacho Vela

Yazmin is an Arts administrator with years of experience supporting granting opportunities for film, media, and artistic community development projects from diverse roles at the Ministry of Culture, Peru. She has also taken production roles in film and commissioned artistic events. Her most recent work experience with the Pix Film Collective, a Toronto-based grassroots organization that contributes to enriching hybrid and multidisciplinary experimentation in media arts, was awarded the Ignite GLOW scholarship for her outstanding commitment to community development. Yazmin holds a Bachelor in Communication Arts and Sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru where she majored in Audiovisual Communication and postsecondary studies in Marketing and Advertising, and is a graduate of Humber College’s Arts Administration and Cultural Management program.
