Toronto Arts Council is pleased to announce that Andrew Suri has been appointed to the new position of Director, Grants Management effective immediately. Andrew's responsibilities will include overseeing all aspects of TAC’s online grants system, ensuring that it is built and managed effectively and has the capacity to meet the ongoing and future needs of TAC. Andrew will work very closely with Beth Reynolds, Director of Grants, to develop new grants programs and ensure full system integration. Andrew will continue in the role of Community Arts Officer until a new Officer is hired in late spring.

City Council’s 2013 commitment to reach $25 per capita arts funding was a huge accomplishment. Toronto Arts Council thanks all City Councillors for their support of this decision, which translates into $17.5 million, increased spending on city arts programs.The $6 million increase approved in 2013 was a strong step towards meeting this goal.
