Grant Information Session

Animating Historic Sites Information Session

Have you ever dreamt about creating and presenting artistic work in a museum or heritage site? Or wanted to collaborate with a local community through historical, environmental or site-specific contexts? Toronto Arts Council’s Animating Historic Sites program provides funding to do just that! In addition to the funding, recipients receive access to space and staff support at participating historic sites throughout Toronto. The program is open to individual artists, arts organizations and collectives working in any artistic discipline. You can research, develop, create, produce, present, program – almost anything! This grant can cover 100% of project costs up to $30,000.

During this info session you will learn all about the grant – eligibility, grant writing tips, and dive into what the application looks like. The partnering sites’ representatives will be in attendance to answer your questions. The session will conclude with an open Q&A.

This information session is free to attend and is for anyone interested in applying to the program. ASL interpretation will be provided.
