Toronto, ON - The second year of artsVest Toronto kicks off in May. Information sessions and sponsorship workshops will take place in the following locations:
- May 12 - Etobicoke
- May 13 - North York
- May 15 - City Hall
- May 16 - Metro Hall

The program is open to Toronto arts and heritage organizations and is delivered by Business for the Arts, with funding support from Canadian Heritage and the Toronto Arts Council. Following May 2013, Toronto Arts Council will again contribute $250,000 for a second year to artsVest Toronto. This matching incentive and sponsorship training program has been created specifically for small and mid-sized arts and culture organizations.
Business for the Arts (BftA), founded in 1974, aims to strengthen arts and culture in Canada by connecting arts organizations to business patrons, volunteers and ambassadors, and by providing resources for arts and business leaders to establish and build successful partnerships.
The artsVest program, founded in 2002, helps arts and culture organizations form funding partnerships with the business community by providing them with matching incentive funds, in-depth sponsorship training and community networking events. In 2011, the program expanded nationally.
