50 Leaders from Canadian Art Sector Gather in Edmonton for Summit Co-Hosted by TAC and EAC

April 24, 2013 - Toronto Arts Council with the Edmonton Arts Council are co-hosting a summit of 50 leaders from Canada's arts sector, over the next two days in Edmonton.

The summit will address the topic 'Who Speaks for the arts in Canada today?' Participants include representative of the diverse range of perspectives and activities within the arts sector, and include artists, arts administrators, representatives from funding and service organizations, and academics. Questions posed in the meetings will also be posed to the public via twitter, for feedback from the general public. Responses will be communicated to the representatives in the meetings.
