TAC Staff Updates: Andrew Suri is Appointed Director, Grants Management

Toronto Arts Council is pleased to announce that Andrew Suri has been appointed to the new position of Director, Grants Management effective immediately. Andrew's responsibilities will include overseeing all aspects of TAC’s online grants system, ensuring that it is built and managed effectively and has the capacity to meet the ongoing and future needs of TAC. Andrew will work very closely with Beth Reynolds, Director of Grants, to develop new grants programs and ensure full system integration. Andrew will continue in the role of Community Arts Officer until a new Officer is hired in late spring.

Andrew joined TAC in 2010 in the role of Community Arts Officer and was promoted to the dual role of Officer and Manager, TAC Grants Online in 2015.  "Andrew's new responsibilities are a response to TAC's growth and the increasing importance of the online system to our success.  We are delighted that Andrew is joining our management team," said TAC Director and CEO, Claire Hopkinson.

In other staffing news, Timea Wharton-Suri is returning from maternity leave and resuming her responsibilities as Dance Officer and Literary Arts Officer, effective immediately.  She can be reached at timea@torontoartscouncil.org, 416-392-6802 x224.  TAC thanks Natasha Powell for covering Timea's responsibilities for the past half year.
