Toronto Arts Council information and announcements

Ontario Minister of Heritage, Sport, Tourism & Culture Industries, Hon. Lisa MacLeod, held a town hall March 26.  She announced that the Ministry budget will increase by $200 million for 2020 and OAC, Trillium, Celebrate Ontario and Ontario Cultural Attractions Fund will not penalize grant recipients for COVID-19 related cancellations. In addition, a special $1.5M Tourism Development and Recovery Fund has been established for small tourism outlets and attractions.  Destination Ontario will develop a major marketing program to assist in recovery when Ontario opens again.
